No one else here probably cares, but the final in the French this morning is Roger Federer from Switzerland v. Robin Soderling from Sweden. Nadal got sent home in a surprising lost in the first week

Also, Kuznetsova won the women's final against Dinara Safina.

Where does this Federer win now rank him in the all-time best men's tennis players? He now has the career-grand slam and is tied with Sampras for most major titles.

If the win had come over Nadal it would have meant significantly more....instead he beat what the #23 best player in the world.....thats a day in the park for him.

Ask Nadal about that walk in the park. I hate when people diminish an accomplishment because the so-called 'favorite' got beat in an early round (people do that a lot in the NCAA tourney too)...it's not Federer's fault that Nadal wasn't able to get the job done.
