Yeah, our series with the Dukes starts soon enough (although some of us old hags wish we would've never stopped playing them every year).

The new field looks great and so will ours. Does Proto or anyone have any tips on what our paint scheme will look like?

We can only PRAY that LU has something like JMU to look forward to--meaning a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

I meant the turf. A National Championship won't happen in the Big South.

Forgive me for not being blown away (I do love their Ops Center int he endzone) but that wouldn't even be considered a top quality high school stadium down here in Texas. Its nice but nothing that we can't match.

Who cares about the stadium. It's brand new field turf, the exact thing we're putting in.

Am I the only one who sees 3/4 of a track? What happened to the other turn?

Isn't LU's fieldhouse bigger than JMU's? We have 3 stories to our building. They have 2 I think.

JMU and LU's fields look so much alike...they have the same blue seats on the 50...

We both are putting in new fieldturf that is taking the place of astroturf.

LU didn't have that wierd crown to the field like JMU's old field...I believe the lights at Williams Stadium are nicer...but I heard that JMU is putting in some kind of diamondvision or something like that...can anyone confirm that?

We need one of those screens, too...even if it's a small one like they have at the hillcats games.

Now all LU needs to do is play football like JMU. That is most important.

The building opens up on the ends and they run through it...kind of like VMI's indoor track where you run behind the stands. It comes in handy, because if you have a twin - you go one on, one off - they never know the difference.

Most field turf fields are two shades of green like that. It's supposed to mock real grass where you can stripe it while mowing it.
