don't know if the muttering to myself covers all of the playoffs but.....
that lakers nuggets game was pretty freakin good.

I was at the Braves game tonight so I missed it but I also heard it was sick. I really wish the Nuggets would win this series. However Kobe scoring 40 tonight i would blame mr. West for that. Kobe heard that West said overall James is better(which is true). Looks like Kobe is trying to prove him wrong.

This isn't watchable. Hey Neutral Fans, enjoy the LeBron/Kobe show. I'll stick with baseball. Peace.

I was gonna start this thread a while ago but I was too lazy. I see the Lakers going 4-1 against Denver. The Cavs going 4-3 against the Magic. And the Lakers in 7 for the finals

No way the refs, I mean LeBron, I mean the Cavs, let it go 7.

I think it has a chance to, mainly because the Cavs don't have anyone to match up to Howard. I would've had the magic winning the series if Jameer Nelson was playing.

Yeah, I hope we sign and trade Hedo for a real 4 and get Jameer healthy and we look really good next year.

Haha I think TGBGB is probably running around in the streets after that win. Props to Orlando. Let it be known that I would love to see a Denver-Orlando showdown in the finals. Just so I can watch as the rest of the world cries because they don't get to see their beloved Kobe/James matchup. This is what we like to call sticking it to the man. Orlando style.

The Cavs didn't have the momentum the Magic did coming into the game tonight. I enjoyed Dwight Howard tearing down the shot clock in the first minute

Yup, literally. I'm assuming you didn't watch, so I shall explain.
He dunked. It was a powerful dunk. It broke one of the bolts holding the shot clock to the backboard structure. The shot clock fell over. They stopped the game to fix it.

Don't count the Nuggets out just yet. They didn't play real well in game 1 and gave the game away late. If the refs let them play like they did the other night, it could be a great series. I'm hoping for a Nuggets/Orlando final just to shut up ESPN.
Is that what constitutes for dunking on someone these days? I guess that's why everybody's scared to play defense. If you try to get a hand up from the side you "got dunked on".

From all the talk on Facebook I thought he was gonna go over LeBron or something. I guess when you're the best player in the league everyone will take what they can get. Howard's dunk that knocked the shot clock off was much more impressive.

All the talk about LeBron is how he gets his "Chase Down" block, that he is at his best when he's coming down on someone on the break, and the Magic dunked on him TWICE in that very situation.

That's because they actually went to dunk the ball. If you look at LeBron's chase down blocks, normally a guy is going up for an easy layup or a showy dunk. The guys from the Magic went to the hoop hard. If you do that, there's no way anyone can block you in that situation.

I know. I'm a Magic Fan. Let me have my fun. I don't get to do his often.

You are a Magic fan? I am too! (For once someone likes the same team as me.)

Alright, how the heck are you a Magic fan? Haha. There are a couple of us on the board. (TBGBG and I are both fans, and there might be someone else).

Well...I never had a favorite pro team. JJ Redick went to Orlando, and I started cheering for them...and the rest is history!
