Brad Soucie has been named Virginia's director of basketball operations and Ron Sanchez and former Cavalier Jason Williford have been named assistant coaches on new coach Tony Bennett's staff.

The Liberty website still says he's interim head coach...I wonder when they'll update it.

I guess if your considering being a mid major DI head coach and stepping down to be an assistant this is about par for the course.
My personal opinion is that this reeks of them not being there to long. There is no way that Soucie will be ok with being the Casey Coleman of UVa for to long.

It's not even a coaching job. No coaching in practice and no off site recruiting. A lot of organizing and scheduling, shmoozing boosters, organizing summer camps and fund raising..

Welcome to the board LF...the guys here are really nice people so apologies if our first impression isnt the best.
Oh and the breaking news thing has kinda developed into an inside joke around here. I'll let one of the other guys explain to you where that originated.
