The older I get, the harder these stories are too read. Condolences to his family.

Sad story. My thoughts are with his family, the Angels, and the entire baseball community.

Very very sad. Nick's dad is a regular contributor on a HS/College baseball web site I frequent...this really hits home.

Awful story. Hit and run. Glad the other guy was caught.

Apparently a guy with a serious driving record of repeated DUI's. If that is the case...and he is proven to have been drunk...he needs to serve life for taking those three lives.

If I heard correctly, terms of his probation were if he had a DUI than involved a death, he could be tried for murder.

He has been charged with multiple counts of murder. Possible sentence of over 50 years if convicted.

The weird thing about all this is, people criticized Toronto when they wanted to ban beer sales at games... maybe that's not a bad idea.
