I got a text from Nate "Soup" Campbell this morning telling me he is going to play basketball at Lynchburg College. If you dont know who he is, he played for us last year. I'm guessing he will go for 30+ a game.

Sweet. I saw him play when he was at Hargrave (I believe). He'll help us out, but he won't be getting 30 a game. There's legit low D1 players in the ODAC that don't go for 30+ a game. Where did he play this past season?

Intermurals at LU I believe.

He didn't play intramurals. Wasn't allowed.

One of our players used to play at Marshall, another had a scholarship offer to Chattanooga and ETSU but declined them. The rest of the team is slim pickens even at the D3 level at best, however.

my sources to the LC program say this hasn't been finalized yet, but they are working on it and would love to have him.

It hasn't yet, but he will go unless Layer offers him a scholarship
