Here are all the players who have taken 33%+ of their respective team's shot attempts. Of the 29 teams, 0 of them will make the dance.

No, ND won't be in the Tourney...

There may not be an I in team, but there is an M-E
Seriously though, I don't think there's any way Notre Dame makes the NCAA Tourney. ND would have to be the 9th Big East team, and there's no justification for that.
Right now, Norfolk St is the only team on that list with a chance at the tourney. They'll have to win the MEAC as a 3 seed and could be eliminated by about 10:00 tonight though....

My bad - Stupid me I was looking at the Kenpom ratings and they were 6th in conference. So it makes me look better. HA.

It's not that he needs to pass more (I know LUconn was joking...I think). It's that he didn't have people that could step up around him to knock down shots. If you've only got two guys that can knock down an open shot around you then you have to take more to make up for it.

No I was joking about the whole facebook group thing. The logic that all of those teams didn't make the tournament because they had one guy taking 33%+ of their shots is stupid. I'd say none of them are making the tournament because all of those teams suck.

I think its valid:
Either you have a predictable offense, or you only have one good player. And both of those are easy to gameplan against.

Yeah, sch14teen only makes actual points when he says
******WARNING I'M STUPID*******
or
"I don't know anything, but..."
That's when he's saying something he stayed up all night figuring out.

Not entirely true. Kentucky has Meeks and Patrick Patterson - Patterson is a first round draft pick if he goes, but has stated he is staying. Notre Dame has Harangody and McAlarney. LU has Curry and Smith. Don't know anything about the other teams.

Two good players don't make a good team. You've gotta have more than three guys on a court that can take a shot for you to be successful.

Exactly, which is why Kentucky was completely horrific this year. They have two all-american caliber players, project freshmen with potential, and a bunch of mid to low major players. Needless to say there aren't many UK fans happy with what Tubby left Gillispie with.

They should not be happy with the job Billy Clyde has done. But Kentuckians tend to be a little slow.

This year he needed to shoot until his arms were so tired he cant raise them...next year he'll need to pass more and only shoot 20 or so times a game

No one is really happy with it since they are going to the NIT (not sure where you get the idea that they are, I haven't found that yet and I visit multiple UK sites every day...), but the sky is falling 24/7 kentucky fans on catspause always have unrealistic expectations to begin with. Most Kentucky fans had unrealistic expectations to begin with - as usual - and are calling for his head. talk to the reasonable fans and you'll get a different picture since they realize the team is simply not talented at all outside of Meeks and Patterson and the entire team's bball IQ is downright pathetic, and that's including meeks. i just want to see him there for two more years - if his players aren't getting the job done then it's time for him to go, not giving him the opportunity to prove what he can do with his own players is simply unreasonable.

He didn't even average 20 shots a game this year. I don't understand why everyone says he jacks up 20+ every game. There have been games where he shot that many (I think it's like six) but he only average 16 shots a game.

16.9 is getting rounded to 16 now? Either way I'm cool with it this year but next year I would like to see it be spread around more as we'll have more options
