Right now I'm watching the Netherlands (Go Oranje!) against the Dominicans... I wish the Netherlands were any good at baseball. I like their style tho...
Anyways, who ya got in the Classic this year?

Hater.
Netherlands just scored a run off of Edinson Volquez by getting two bunt singles, a walk, and a wild pitch. I love it.

Sidney Ponson looking good out there for the Nederlands... still up 3-0 on the DR.
And yes, Dom. They eliminated Taiwan last night.

I was thinking "Sidney Ponson is Dutch?" Then I googled and found out he is from Aruba, which is a Dutch colony.
There are some people I know in the DR who are going to go ballistic if they lose this game.

Tejada cuts it to 3-1 after 4 with a solo HR.

Yeah, I am worried that the Dutch bullpen isn't going to be able to hold off the DR. Ponson is about to have to leave the game, we need to get some insurance runs before he leaves the game.

Youkilis had an absolutely sick AB last night...kept working it for 10 pitches then crushed the 11th for a bomb.

That was a great at bat. And that 11th pitch was definately a shot.
