the four letter continues to come up with things to keep the football lover wanting more. this list of both NFC and AFC playoff teams is interesting but i think baltimore will not make it and cincinnati will. i also do not see how indy is #1 with the loss of the edge. and just for medic, SCAR and GMTM, They ranked the eagles 23 and the brownies 25. What does everyone think??
AFC
1. COLTS
2. STEELERS
3. PATRIOTS
4. BRONCOS
5. CHIEFS
6. RAVENS
NFC
1. PANTHERS
2. SEAHAWKS
3. REDSKINS
4. BEARS
5. COWBOYS
6. FALCONS

I expect the Falcons to underachieve, as usual. They wont be top 10.
OUR Birds- the REAL birds- may well be in for a rough couple years until the ship gets righted. I could actually see the Andy Reid era ending within a couple years if things don't improve, but that's just the pessamist in me coming out.

Here is my sleeper in the AFC, (Dolphins) no way the ravens will be up there, they will be last in the toughest divison... The dolphins won there last 6 in a row to finish out last year and Saban is now going into his second year, the D is always tough and 2nd year for Mr.Brown and it will be intresting to see what Culpepper does this year... I think Cleveland is getting cheated big time at 25, Romeo weeded out alot of the trash, (are two biggest ?'s are going to be at QB with Charlie and wether or not our RB's can stop hitting there wives or stop getting hit by there wives).... D should be much better... I can't wait only few more weeks before training camp and thank God only a 1 before Preseason games.... I have already ordered Sunday ticket!!!!!!!!! God I love football..... Smoothie and SCAR you will have to check out my new crib this weekend

The Falcons have underachieved the last few years. It seems like they start off well but falter at the wrong time. They probably won't make the playoffs again this season.

I think the Ravens will be fine as long as McNair is in there. If he plays 12 of the 16 games I think they will be happy. The Eagles are in for a long season again even though we do get 5 back. Who knows how he will be after his injury though. Still no recievers to throw the ball to and no real back to hand it to. The defense got torched last season etc. The Dolphins and the Ravens are 2 teams I may use in next year's Madden 07. When PS3 comes out in the Fall that is gonna be something else. Can't wait for Football season.
Dolphins

I must agree that the Phins are the sleepers of the AFC. I have gotten the opportunity a few times now to go to some of the mini-camps and watch them and the few times Dante has been out there he looks to be way ahead of his rehab schedule. As long as he doesn't push it and rush it (which Saban won't let him do) I think the Phins are gonna be solid this year. People down here are starting to get excited, especially after what we got with the Heat.

Ravens?? Come on. Mcnair couldn't even last a season back when he was young. They probably have one of the worst offensive lines East of Houston.

It worries me that the Panthers are ranked #1. I like sneaking up on people. I know they're good, but putting them #1 might be a little high.

McNair is good for only 8 games at the max!!!! Ray Lewis has nothing left in the tank, I am so sick of him being over-hyped every freaking year!!!!! Go Browns!!!

Most over-hyped team in the league: New England Patriots.
Go ahead, let me have it.

3 in 4
1 down year
pretty much backed the hype.
although, I will concede that it will be interesting to see how they rebound this year with the loss of McGinest (big dent in personnel) and if the glory years are waning. However, it has proven unwise in the past couple of years to underestimate the machine of Belichik & co.
By the way, with the 'Phin talk--Did they actually sign the younger Vick?

They've had two down years. Last year, and the year after they won the first one if I'm not mistaken. The Patriots will never be as good as they used to be because they lost their top 3 assistants.
