I admit I didn't think Cremins would want to be coming into CofC after the Gregg debacle, but silver-haired coach is coming out of the broadcast booth to head back to the bench (feeling inspired, Scar?):
Cremins says he's accepted College of Charleston job

Six years into retirement, former Georgia Tech coach Bobby Cremins said Saturday he's agreed to become the new coach at the College of Charleston.

The 59-year-old Cremins, who won 354 games at Georgia Tech and took the Yellow Jackets to the 1990 Final Four, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he has agreed in principle to a contract.

"I know it's going to be tough because they've got some problems, but I really wanted a new challenge," Cremins told the Journal-Constitution by phone Saturday. "I really miss coaching."

There's a distinct irony in seeing the man most famous for reneging on a coaching position to be stepping in after Gregg's shenanigans.
