Wow...I thought the worst I had ever seen was when Winthrop was in the play-in game back in 2001...Marcus Stewart was about to shoot a jumper from near the free throw line when Northwestern State's D'or Fisher came over to block his shot (dude was like 6'11" and swatted a ton of shots that night)...Marcus overcompensated and ended up hitting the shot clock above the backboard on the fly...That was bad, but at least the shot was contested and his shot was on the right line...But on this clip, that guy missed the basket by about 5 feet or so to the right..that's hard to do, I mean, the shot was barely contested.

Yep, that might be the worst I've seen past the high school level.

i think he was aiming for the backboard and just threw it too high. but still terrible

ive seen someone miss an open layup on the wrong goal. but this shot was bad too
