one of the biggest college basketball games thus far coming up on wed. night at 7pm on ESPN. predictions, comments?

i think duke will handle them by a very small margin. hopefully paulus will be existent this game.

is that played down south somewhere? I don't think anyone else cares

please remember: anywhere between NYC/Philly/DC and LA is FLYOVER country

that includes TEXAS. ESPECIALLY TEXAS.

DUKE by 8. You guys are all Duke haters!! Come on, Coach K has clearly built the best basketball program in our lifetime. All the other powers are either public universities or get a lot of exposure from other sport programs at their university.

Duke by 5. And it won't be as close as that sounds. K's patented end of game stall ball will let them back in it in the last few minutes. Wake is a dangerous team but I just don't think they'll be able to hang with the big boys all season.

I don't think this Wake team has enough "big game" experience at this point. They are a young team, & if they have the same squad next season, they will be the tops in the league.

The devils have a more experienced team & I believe that will be the deciding factor. Since Henderson finally found out how athletic he really is, he's had the most impact overall on the team. They win by 12.

I'm thinking Duke's gonna win...Wake Forest lost to Tech, so they'll be fired up and it'll be close, but I think Duke is the better team.

Wake will take some knocks now. They scare me come ACC tourney time though.

It's about time for college basketball fans in the West to pack it anyway.

Envy - One decent school in that whole state and that school hasn't even won a championship!! Even the farm boys to your North have figured out a way to win a championship.

Looking forward to going to this game on Wednesday night. Duke is really playing well defensively and is finally getting some consistent play out of Gerald Henderson which I think has been the big difference. However, I don't see Wake loosing two games in a week though..

I was telling Smoothie this earlier tonight. I don't know why I'm a Carolina fan. I pull for Wake just as much. I just happen to pull for Carolina when they play Wake.

I love it when Wake, Duke, and Carolina are on top of the ACC. It makes January through March so much fun.
