I just got back to the house and turned it on to ESPN ans was amazed. I didn't realize Duke was playing the Maryland Boys & Girls club!

i have to say this outcome pretty much solidifies that gary williams wont be coaching at maryland after this season. you don't have a bunch of disappointing years in a row then get completely destroyed by one of your top rivals and expect to keep your job.
I am a pretty disappointed Terps fan right now. This is going to be really hard to come back from. Vasquez has lost almost all of his leadership in the last two weeks.

They'd be smart to get rid of him, but he brought that program from the dead. They went from a HS coach with violations galore to back to back final fours including a NC. He's not going anywhere unless he wants to.

that's fine by me. one more virtual automatic W for any half-decent team that actually deserves tv time and a spot in the ncaa tournament.

yeah... what an idiot. for those that don't know, he said before the game that cameron indoor was "his house". that would be why they chanted "our house" for about 10 minutes in there haha he got what he deserved. don't talk trash to the crazies

Why would you tick off a team that is clearly better than you at basically every facet of the game? I hate Duke but I don't want any Tar Heels making stupid comments before heading into Cameron.
Because Vasquez is an idiot. I can't stand how much raw potential he has and he has wasted in for 4 years. I think I am going to take Jeff Barber's advice and start rooting for the school I go to.
