2009 Former Verbal Commit: LB Khalil Mack

According to the article about QB prospect Isaac Virgin choosing South Florida, his teamate has made a verbal to LU. He only played 1 year of HS varsity ball due to injuries, but had 110 tackles this year.

Oh what could have been if he had stuck with us instead of being lured up to Buffalo by our current DC ...

BOISE — Five years ago, no one wanted Khalil Mack.
Now no one can figure out how to block him.
Mack’s rise from unheralded and (basically) unrecruited high school senior to a high first-round NFL Draft prospect will continue Saturday when Buffalo plays San Diego State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl at Bronco Stadium.
