Can't believe there isn't a thread on this already.
Wake is up 75-70 with 6:16 left.

It's been a really good game. As I said in the Duke/Davidson thread, Wake's student section is awesome tonight.

Wake's big men are playing great. Aminu and Johnson are as good as a 3-4 as there is.
However, Danny Green is keeping UNC afloat. This is the first time I've seen him this year and he seems to be greatly improved.

UNC's guards are being completely exposed defensively once again. unc simply will not even come close to winning the national championship if they cant play any backcourt D. the BC trio scores i think over 60 against them. jeff teague has 29 with 2:45 left. if it wasn't for danny green shooting lights out the game wouldn't even be close right now.

the wake forest C just went essentially coast to coast on a steal for a layup...

and hansbrough walks a mile and doesnt even get called for a travel. for goodness sake he took two HOPS before the ball even touched the floor, then once it did he traveled again. what is this the nba?

It wasn't pretty but it worked.
Ellington is starting to heat up and Lawson is starting to get in the lane.
Aminu fouls out with 46.9 seconds.
89-86, Wake ball.

That's typical. Only Hansbrough is allowed to do the hop.

Graves nails a clutch 3.
91-89, Wake up with 4.7 to go.

I thought these Tarheels were supposed to be the best team ever.

You didn't see Carolina fans saying the best team ever crap. That was the media. I knew from the beginning they would lose a few games. The ACC is too good not to lose a few.
Wake rushing the court was kinda funny though.
As for Wake's center making a "steal" and going coast to coast - uh, not quite. It was a long rebound from Hansbrough shooting a three.

Oh great. The Wake MBA's are going to be insufferable at work. But I'm happy for Dino, during the offseason he plays pick up ball at my church, good guy.

I think Landesburg gives everyone he plays nightmares. At least coaches trying to defend him. That guy is an animal.

I'll be at that game on Thursday with my 2 roommates (unc fans). I will definitely be a uva fan for the night. When my friend bought the tickets in late December, we thought we'd be seeing an undefeated #1 team, now they'll in the bottom of the top 10.

FIFY
(Actually, he played pretty well against us, and had 17 points and 9 rebounds, but it was Zeglinski that gave us fits in the second half.)

Tell that to Brown. He scored 8 points against them. Brown.

The silver lining I take from the game is that Carolina shot 35% from the floor.....6-23 from 3 pt. land.......on the road....against the #4 team in the country......Deon & Tyler went a combined 6-25 from the floor......Ellington was 2-7 from 3 pt. land.....Lawson had 4 TO's & only 5 assists.......and they only lost by 3 points.
The last time Carolina started 0-2 in the ACC was '96 - '97.....they made the Final Four.

This was a great game to watch. I think the ACC will be a lot better this year than the previous one.
