JJ Redick was scoring double figures against Atlanta for the Magic.

JJ has gone for double figures 4 times this year, even though he is shooting under 40% from the floor. Not sure what to think of this kid. I'm just glad that he isn't totally useless.

And his 4 missed free throws this year are probably more than he missed his entire life before then NBA.

he should've played like he did tonight earlier in the season, if he had he would be getting consistent playing time...not just getting it when 2 players are hurt

maybe so...but if he is put into the right situation i think he could be a solid contributor..the funny thing about this year is he has actually improved a ton on the defensive end (not that it would take much, haha), but what hurt him was his shot wasn't falling...

Not even close. I'm as big a Redick fan as anyone but the comparisons to Kerr are way off base.

Kerr could run the point in a decent fashion. JJ ... not so much. JJ reminds me more of Craig Hodges.

Doesn't Steve Kerr have some championship rings? That'd be a huge difference.

LOL yeah along with the greatest player of all time...they tend to go hand and hand

Pippen is still looking for one without him...and that's a top 50 player (which is a joke within its own right)

Kerr was no BJ Armstrong!!!

I like Reddick a lot too, but Kerr was a great role player on one of the greatest teams ever. He played good defense, didn't turn the ball over and would hit pretty much any shot he took. I would compare him to a white man's Derek Fisher (That's Kerr). I would compare Reddick to Tim Legler, not real impressive in the beginning, but might eventually have 1 or 2 decent years being a spot up 3 point only player.

NBA or college? Dell, Steph or Seth?

You really can't dispute JJ's credentials as a college shooter, but if Steph plays 4 years, he'll probably surpass him. JJ hasn't proven himself from NBA range, and Dell is one of the all-time NBA 3 point shooters. Way too early to know about Seth.

After the thugs from the Richmond team tried to mug him the entire game, too.

the only emotion he showed was at the very end when he hit one from about half court for his 44th point and he just stood in front of a packed house screaming...when I say packed I mean packed....folding chairs at the top b/c there wasnt 1 open seat
