Freakin crazy. I was thinking about not even turning it on because I thought it would be the same score except reversed. I'm glad I turned it on though.

I love watching Nick the (explicitive that rhymes with lick) Saban suffer. as a Georgia fan this score makes me happy. On a lighter note, did anyone watch the Liberty Bowl? ECU and UK had one heck of a barn burner that should be called the Replay bowl.

I think of all the calls made they finally got everything right and the team that deserved to win did. I was kind of rooting for ECU just to see skip win but I think Kentucky coming back and taking over in the second half and forcing 2 fumbles and bringing both of them back for TD's and only one counting was good. Did you see that stiff arm the D-Linemen put on the WR from ECU on his way to the endzone? crazy!

And did you see his knee was on the ground when he had possesion of the ball, that fumble return should not have been a TD

Man, Saban looked like his head was about to pop last night. It was very enjoyable to watch him. At one point in the 3rd quarter a Utah receiver caught about a 12 yard pass on a 2nd and 19 right in front of Saban and was immediately taken down by the defender. He crouched down and was screaming in his face for getting beat. He doesn't look very fun to play for.

That game actually helps the case of the Horns for the AP National Title. So I admit being pleased to see the final score.

you don't think somebody looking to screw up the system would vote for Utah in the AP poll?

The Gators' primary argument for inclusion in title discussion is their squeaker over the Tide. That doesn't look so impressive today.
And yes, I do expect quite a few protest votes. I just hope they focus on the Horns.

And here I thought that their primary argument for inclusion in title discussion was the fact of their presence in the title game.
As a person who lives in a neighboring state to Alabama, I've got to say that watching that last night was pretty sweet.

You must not have been paying attention, RTF. The BCS baloney has little to do with a real title like the AP.

Great win for the Utes. I enjoy any game that upsets the BCS applecart.
Sly....the Horns need to win before you can talk about the AP. However, if Texas beats Ohio State, I think any protest votes in the AP poll will be split between Texas, USC and Utah with the bulk of those votes going to USC.

Let's hope the writers are more discerning than that the day after the BCS farce.
If the Horns can't beat the Bucks then they should hang their heads in shame worse than the Tide.

If the Bowl Championship Series had relied on one set of its computer rankings, Oklahoma would not be playing Florida for the BCS title on Thursday night. Instead, Oklahoma would be facing football’s newest darling.
That’s right, the Utah Utes.

I'm not breathing easy. UT has been very disappointing tonight even with the lead.

Sly, you can breathe easy now, but don't hold your breath waiting for a share of the national title, it's not gonna happen.

I agree. Count me among those who think the Utes are the national champs.
