Yes i was and it was terrible basketball. Mario and Sexton look like about the only two players on coastal's team with any kind of shooting. I won't go into details but it was just straight ugly. I sat with the coastal mom's though who where incredibly funny during the game and one pointed out to me that there was a hansborough and a curry on the floor for Georgia state at the same time(no relation on either). it was funny.

as for beating Ga state on the road... there was about 100 people at the game. about 40 of them were an elementry school their gym is about as big as UNCA and Ga state is TERRIBLE. like i think montreat would have given them a game and we would easily beat them by 30

Nice analogy- that way everyone gets a clearer picture of a 3400 seat capacity place right?? And folks wonder why I joke about empty seats at Vines in LU pics...

Winthrop had the game tied with just over 3 minutes to play- ODU pulled away down the stretch as the Eagles got unraveled.. The Eagles have now lost 8 straight games..

They did some better things this game though- switched from man-to-man (about time you swallowed that pride Eagles!!) to a zone defense most of the game- ironically when they went bac to man-to-man late in the game that's when the score stretched out- it was a pretty close game for the most part..

I hope they play zone against us.

I'm not sure it would even matter..

No see UNCA's actually looks like an arena. This is in downtown Atlanta they basically took an office building cut out holes in two floors and threw in some hardwood and retractable bleachers. its as big as my highschool gym. literally.

No I know what it looks like completely- we played there my senior year against "Lefty" Driesell & GA State (Fumblerooskies was there too!).. It is a random downtown building with a gym inside, like much of their campus as well- I never could figure out why they print continuously that it holds 3400 people though- there's no way it holds that many- it's bigger than the JC but it's set up a lot like Wofford, if any of you guys have been there..

Yup...remember that dump well. Other than getting out with a win...the highlight of that trip was lunch at THE VARSITY!
