Yes, it was quite painful to watch for 2 hours.. only one bright spot- John Williams had 4 big time blocks & he had a dunk and one on Danny Green.. Green had the last laugh though hitting 6 straight 3 pointers in the 2nd half- the last of which was from about 30 feet (around Charlotte on the NC map at halfcourt!).. ugly game- next for us Tennessee, can't be any worse than last night!!

Coach Williams is now donating money to UNC-A for their new basketball facilities.
North Carolina coach giving back to WNC

"Williams, who grew up in Asheville, plans to make a sizable financial donation to UNC Asheville for its new basketball arena to honor longtime friend and coaching colleague Jerry Green."

Coach Williams has participated in past UNCA fund-raising events, as well...even appearing in at least one of the Bulldog Club Golf events.

They actually made that announcement & brought Coach Green out at halftime of the Montreat game- they're evidently naming the new basketball office suites after Jerry Green in the new facility being built.. Roy's already made the donation- not sure why the C-T is just now writing about it- oh wait.. it's because UNC just killed us & they waited for the positive spin 2 weeks later..

You have no Idea how happy it made me to watch this game. I laughed from a good healthy place through the entire game.

I understand where you're coming from but was it because you thought how much worse it would be for LU to play Carolina?? I had to laugh about it after the first half as well though- kinda how I felt while in the Justice Center 2 weeks ago.. it happens!

At least you're honest- I can appreciate that... You would know about pain though I'm sure- guessing it's hard watching your boy TB hold the bench down year after year...

Yup... Just like watching KG hold down a Hospital bed instead of the paint.

Wow- I guess that's fair play.. comparing a guy with a sprained foot & ankle with questionable toughness (by your own fans).. to a guy that has had amputation that's life altering.. glad that Baptist University education is working out for you..

Normally I'm with you when people say stuff about KG, but you made fun of a player for being hurt and opened up that window yourself. You can't complain about it now.

Education?

From what I understand, king is a former athlete.

At a state school.

He did not receive an education.

"What shape is a basketball" was the only question he had to actually study for. (It was extra credit on his history final)

we are taught to be clean... something KG should try. of course, its too late now that the Gangrene has set in. maybe your athletic department should have got him a 6ft brush so he could reach his feet to wash them.

Trust me...a UNCA education trumps just about any other in the Big South. King got an OUTSTANDING education there.
