I know this thread was originally about a different sport entirely but I'm going to take a shot at Coastal here and didn't feel like starting a new thread to do it so bear with me.

Remember what I said in the football forum about a coach who guarantees a starting job to any player will not be coaching for long? That goes triple for true freshmen.

Cheatwood committed to Coastal Carolina earlier this week and says he’s excited about his decision.

“They said I would be starting as a freshman and have a chance to take my skills to the next level,” he said. “I have many friends going down there, and it’s a beautiful campus at the beach.”

Cheatwood chose the Chanticleers over Wofford, Presbyterian, Georgia Southern and Western Carolina.
