At homecoming he said his agent was working several teams hard. Glad to see him picking up a game check once again.

As a Ram fan (not so much lately because of Marcie Bulger), I hope he can play well and not get killed. Not much of an OL and with no threat at QB, it is going to be difficult. Still a good opportunity with most of the RB's hurt and very little depth.

He should be close to qualifying for NFLPA retirement benefits if that's what they call it? I think its four or five years appearing on a roster/practice squad.

Players need to play at least three seasons in the NFL to satisfy the pension's vesting requirement, and age 55 serves as the NFL's designated retirement age

Another former Flame might be getting his shot soon in the NFL. Adalius Thomas is reported to be out for the season, making Redd a likely candidate for the Patriots.
