Colin Cowherd had been speculating since Lane was fired in Oakland. I think it has some legs and would be a good fit for both sides. I can't see either coach you mentioned leaving so soon; Butch Davis is starting to see some success at Carolina, and has some very good recruits in his program now--while Cutcliffe has the obvious connections, I don't think he leaves Duke so soon. Bad timing.
