I know it's early in the 2nd quarter, but Texas Tech is beating that #1 team from Austin:

Tech 12
UT 0

I have been big on TTU for a while now, and here is their chance to prove how good they are. You can tell Musberger just loves them... (I hate that guy, he plays favorites worse than me).

I am sure Sly has his thoughts on this game. :P

Harrell picks apart the D and puts 6 more on the board... 19-0 Raiders.

So he can get blown out by a superior team from a superior conference?

I wouldn't wish for that if I was you.

That's what they said in '87.

Ohio State v. Florida and Ohio State v. LSU are all you need to know on this topic. You guys are BARELY above OSU's level, and OSU isn't on the same level as the SEC and other power conferences.

  That was funny Fumble.

Regarding this game or that from years gone bye, the BoSox won the World Series last year in 4, then the Rays beat them so where does that leave the Phillies - World Champions.

Penn State beats Ore St who beat USC. We could go on and on with that futile line of reasoning.

TTU 29
UT 13

LU needs a bell like Texas Tech has: we could call it our "Liberty Bell" and ring it after touchdowns.

Penn state won by 31, then oregon state won by 6. Just cause they had one lame game against osu and won, that doesn't mean they are pathetic. I don't think they would get crushed if they played in the championship. We're just gonna have to wait and see.

and during this argument. . .

Texas has scored 2 touchdowns to make it 29-26 Tech with 9 minutes left

I wouldn't start dancing on the Horns' grave quite yet. There is plenty of time left and a history of Ut coming back on the Red Raiders the past few years.

How about those Red Raiders...

That has to be an ESPY nominee...I mean to catch it, and spin out like that, stay INBOUNDS) and score the winning TD with 1 second left...

If the Horns had fair caught the final kickoff I think they could've won it. The way that game was going anything was possible.

Colt Mccoy made a mistake at the end of the game on Texas's drive to its last TD. He ran out of bound at the five yard line, if he had stayed in play, got down, they would have taken 30 seconds off the clock and TT would have had less time to score

or if they wouldn't of played like crap in teh 1st half.

That's one of those things that you do have to consider. Although if you watch that last drive by TT, they were getting past the sticks (barely) every time a pass was caught. If they get stopped short on any of those pass plays, they have to use that one TO and cant really set up for a field goal and possibly even never score that wild TD. Also remember...UT could have ended it if that defender comes up with the interception. You can extrapolate all sorts of "what ifs" from that three minutes or so
