Five players were wearing black jerseys as the team's designated Practice Players of the Week for their work in preparing the team for Monday night's victory over the Denver Broncos. The blackshirts were quarterback Matt Gutierrez, wide receiver Sam Aiken, tight end Tyson DeVree, linebacker Vince Redd and defensive lineman Titus Adams.

Huge congrats for Vince. I know he must be working his sleeves off.

A lot of Rookies are getting elevated to the active roster due to injuries. Mayo (1st) has played almost every defensive down, Wheatley, Guyton (undrafted), Crable has seen time, Wilhite and most recently Benjarvis Green-Ellis at running back. While I am plenty fine with no more injuries occurring, playing time this year can change on a dime in the Pats organization.
