OK...the Fall Classic is here...with no search for Red Soxtober. Will a championship come to Philly for the first time in most of your lifetimes...or will the Rays bedevil the Phightin' Phils?

I figure Phillies in 6...I like their bullpen better...although Price was absolutely filthy last night. However...I am going against my life's upbringing and actually pulling for an AL team...rooting for the Rays.

I'm a Mets fan... and this WS pits the hated Philadelphia Phillies against the Rays, whose star pitcher should be a Met (Scott Kazmir). I think I'm going to be sick.

But seriously though, go Tampa.

This post is ridiculous....you picked the dodgers last time, and even after we dominated early you still thought they would win in 6. Now your figuring the Phillies, rooting for the rays and going against your lifes upbringing.....seriously, which board member did you borrow meds from?

I am picking the Rays simply because I can't see Philly actually winning anything in any sport. Sorry Philly guys...its the truth

It's pathetic how many Rays "fans" there are out there now. The Rays are the Tigers from a couple years ago, hence, they will not win.

The AL clearly had better teams in the postseason, but the Phillies big guns are due to erupt.

i'm a braves fan, but the rays are my fallback since the bulls are their farm team and i've been going to bulls games my entire life so i guess technically i've been pulling for the rays since they picked up the bulls. i miss the old days when the bulls were part of the braves organization, but that was before they made the stadium really nice

I'm rooting for the Rays since they have the second lowest payroll in MLB. One thing that no one talks about is how having no salary cap has killed baseball. The Rays are underdogs in every sense of the word.

How does it kill baseball? The free market has done a good job in at least the NL...where in the past 11 years, there has been 10 different teams in the WS.

And it hasn't helped the Tigers. Once they dug deeper into the pockets, they tanked--or at least fell back to earth, I guess it's hard to say you tanked after just one good year.
