Are you excited about this signing Sly? He's sort of a Texan, and now he's got the best opportunity to succeed. I know how much you like it when Texans do well.

The dude needs lots of work. He has Manute Bol-ish ups. But you can't teach size and he is beginning to gain more knowledge of the game.
He is the one I was telling everyone to get word to the staff about last fall (back before the rest of the hoops world discovered him).

He had cultural issues to overcome. But as we have seen over the years, African players seem to have a quick learning curve.

Update: After concerns that he might not have the proper paperwork to show that he is in this country legally, he has finally been declaired eligable by the NCAA. A big sigh of relief is shared by all.
