No way this should have happened. They beat OK, that's it. Beating Rice, Colorado, FAU, Arkansas and UTEP does not make you #1. Bama got jipped.

I'm not taking the bait.

Don't worry, Bama fans will simply make up a number one ranking. They probably already have a trophy. Seriously though, Oklahoma and Texas both looked like really good teams. Alabama, Penn State, Texas...it will all work itself out. If Bama goes undefeated in the SEC I don't think they have anything to worry about. Same for Texas.....including last week, their four game stretch is unreal. I love college football.

Bama struggled to a 17-14 win over a mediocre UK squad...

It's still UK, a mediocre squad regardless of conference.

Who had more teams in the top 10? Texas is legit at #1!

Texas is #1 right now...bama started the season strong, but lately has not done enough to be the #1 team in the nation...Texas clearly has...i think the top 3 are exactly right

Well then it's settled, Texas is #1. Question answered.

Now if Colorado would give me a team to get excited about, that'd sure be nice.

You disappoint me, Zack. It took you this long to respond in this thread. Then again I recognize most Ags are busy trying to figure out how to buy their way out of Sherman's contract already.

Good luck Saturday against the Sand Ags.

Hoops should be fun. But watch out for Baylor. Drew has assembled a great cast. They are the new #3 in the league after the Horns and Swooners.

After this afternoon, I was actually dreading tonight's game. But it sure has made me feel a great deal better tonight.

Doubters might check out ABC right now.

How much you want to bet the SEC doesn't get a team in the national title game?
