Unlike the $2.25 billion that the SEC will receive, the WAC settled for a $37.19 payout.

well it's the wac. i cant really think of 4 teams in that conference off the top of my head, and trying to get 4 would be pushing it.

I don't think that using examples of your knowledge, or lack thereof, as an indicator of something's popularity, visibility, or anything else.

And 4 WAC teams is easy. Fresno, Boise, Nevada, and Hawaii. How about a challenge next time? :P

Those are 4 of the most creative offenses in college football. So, you're right, it's not exciting.

Doesn't Hawaii have a new coach now, I thought June Jones left? I wonder if they will have a "creative offense" like last year (which was just called throw the football every down) or more of a "real" offense. Whatever they are running this year, it was horribly ineffective in their first game and their defense was even less effective.

wait until hoops season starts, i don't think you'll be getting particularly excited about WAC hoops. just another mid major conference that sometimes gets two bids then normally don't do much once they get in to the tournament.

I'm guessing you never actually saw Hawai'i play. In any event, yes, they have a new coach who installed a "real" offense this year.

I saw them get demolished in their bowl game last year, that was it - which i know was obviously not the best game to see their offense firing on all cylinders. most of their other games didn't come on until like midnight here on the east coast i think.

Yes, June Jones is now at SMU...I wouldn't ask him if he wanted rice with anything this week.
