The NCAA is clearly doing nothing to stop unionization of players and I believe the SEC would probably suffer the most right?? What if the SEC was being proactive by adding a private school so they created a loop hole to force exemption from any player unionization!?!?! Just a possible theoryThat's above even my level of crazy. I would be totally on board if this were feasible but there's no way

I would imagine that was a presentation of what the SB has to offer.Unless Ark State comes disguised as another school from the MAC, JMU is not listening. They have their minds made up, IMHO. They want to be associated with higher-academia schools and the Sun Belt does not fit their (JMU's) requirements...
And about the Sun Belt. Someone tweeted me the other day to confirm a report that the Sun Belt had invited JMU. This, I'm told, is untrue. When I asked someone who would know, they said, "That's funny." From what I've heard, the Sun Belt is JMU's last resort - and the Sun Belt apparently knows this and doesn't like it.

More accurately celebrate and plan the impending demise of the Big South until one LU hater on the Sun Belt boards tries to stir the pot and says it isn't happening. Then Coastal will be headed to the CAA leaving us behind while they laugh hysterically and Toman, Richardson, Gill, and JB will all leave for higher profile jobs and will be stuck in a bottom 3 D1 conference forever.Right there, this is exactly what I see happening, especially Gill. He didn't come here to coach FCS, he came here to coach a transitional program heading to FBS. The second that doesn't happen he will be headin right back up. LU is a great school but if we don't get the chance to jump we won't be able to compete with any head coaching job in FBS and that is simply a fact.
