I hate to re-hash this topic, but in the interests of edifying discussions...

You have to have seen the Chris Berman videos, where he lobs f-bombs at his production assistants left-and-right. These vids were filmed back in 2000, but not released on the 'net until just a few weeks ago.

Now, many have said that Dana Jacobson should be suspended because of conduct unbecoming a sports anchor (and I was one of them). Should ESPN also suspend Berman for his tirade? This is certainly a black-eye.

For those who said that Dana Jacobson's comments came outside the boundaries of ESPN, and should not be suspended... Well, this is behind-the-scenes video during an ESPN broadcast. Should he be suspended?

I say "no", largely because this video happened eight years ago. But Berman should be given a talkin' to.

I was expecting something a lot worse...this is what 99% of all former athletes now in broadcasting sound like...anyone on here hear Howard Cosell (sp?) when he spoke at the Lynchburg Sports Club? Listen to the stories...they are quite entertaining and makes Boomer look like a saint

For the record, I hate cursing. That's why I don't watch many movies. Hollywood has done a great job of normalizing that language.
