For the record, i'm not implying we're superior to you in every way. The world of higher education is a complex and multi-facted one, and I'll be the first to say that your college has good spiritual life,which is something to be proud of. My only qualm is this- I've been on this board for several months, and if you look at my total post count, it's extremely low (comparatively speaking) to the average user.

Yes, you do have a lower post count than a lot of our members. I think that's why everyone gets so annoyed when you talk about Samford, because you don't have a lot of posts, but most of the ones you do have are talking about it. You see what I mean? I'm not saying this in an angry or upset way. I'm just trying to make you understand why people are giving you such a hard time.

Listen, I want you to stick around here, believe it or not, but you're going to have to be okay with the fact that no one wants to hear about Samford every (or almost every) time you post. You can post about Samford, but if that's mostly what you're posting about, it's going to annoy people. You also have to admit that whether you've done it intentionally or not, you've talked down to people about attending LU. You've said a lot of things that imply LU is inferior, not respectable, etc. Maybe that's not what you meant, but that's how it's come across to everyone here.

If any of that upsets you, then I'm sorry. I'm not trying to debate or argue with you. I'm just offering up a totally honest perspective on why people here are so harsh with you.
