I'm not a Dale Jr. fan, but I respect Hendrick and his team. He just signed Mark Martin a full ride deal for the 09 season. I think they just need to build their team and not focus soley on the winning. They will soon start winning and when they do, watch out.

I lost alot of respect for Hendrick when they let Kyle Bush go the way they did to pick up Jr. I have to wonder what Mr. Hendrick must think lookin over at Joe Gibbs Racing (my personal favorite team) and seeing his former employee dominate the circuit. Its quite obvious to me that gibbs has an eye for talent. Denny is in the top ten, Kyle leads the series, and well I dont count tony anymore since im sure he is leaving for next season but when Joey Lagano gets in that car that team will be an even larger force to be reckoned with. Oh yeah and they are winning on the circuit and this is the first year they are running toyotas.

yeah a few typos there oinker . i was saying it is a joy to have martin in the stables of the best team in NASCAR. And manager, joe gibbs went after jr. very hard....he lost out in a bidding war. and to go one step further you think rick hendrick does not have an eye for talent?? he discovered jimmie johnson and kyle busch. kyle wanted to leave because he was not the marquee driver behind johnson and gordon. now. let's talk toyotas. did toyota have any sucess before JGR signed on?? no way. toyota doubled it's engineering force for the cup cars when JGR signed on so they should be better. no doubt JGR is a hot team especially because of kyle and joey logano is an up and coming star, but the guy has never run a race in the sprint cup and was discovered by jack roush. obvious you are a JGR fan and that is cool, i just wanted to give you some facts

I agree with pretty much every word you said bigsmooth and i admit that my JGR bias taints my views or maybe its my STRONG DISLIKE of Dale Jr. that makes me think the way I do. Either way you put it JGR is a very strong team and they are proving it on the track.

also I was never much a fan of tony but he has brought lots of success to Gibbs. although he was never a fan favorite I am sorry to see him leave the team but i hope he has success in his new racing ventures

you can disagree all you want my freind, but the facts are there and it is truth. JGR is a strong team and have have done a great job in improving toyota. i personally hated to see kyle busch leave hendrick but it was a money thing.
