No way. These guys can play. I'm not saying this is THE year, but they are well on their way to getting there. If the Cubs are still in contention in July, look for them to unload some of the young infield talent in the minors for starting pitching. I get the feeling Theo really wants to make the whole Back to the Future thing happen.

What stinks is that three of the best teams in baseball are in the NL Central and one of them is going to be one and done next week. With Arrieta going for the cubs, I think my Bucs may come out on the short end of it after an absolutely terrific season. I am hoping they can pass the Cards this week and let them deal with him.

The Cubs are a good team, but some of their fans are terrible. remember last time they were in playoffs. The fans started celebrating before final out and TV folks were also. game isn't over until final out .

If my memory is correct, a fan interfered with a foul ball, and it ended up costing them.

I'm a 4th generation Cubs fan. Some of my earliest memories are of my grandpa taking me to Wrigley for games after church on Sundays. He's 86 now. I NEED this to happen so I can share that moment with him.

Im not a fan of the single game format either flamehunter...personally I think it should be best of 3 at the team with the higher record. American League Thursday-Saturday, National League Friday-Sunday then start the Divisional Round on that following Wednesday
