what time should we expect you?

I'd advise you try to get here BEFORE they burn the place to the ground.

Rioting and looting should start by midnight 8)

Congrats to the Phillies. Hopefully the Philly fans will show some class and not burn down the city.

Just like they showed class last night, right? The only thing the fans cheered for was themselves. That place is filled with horrible, horrible people. The scourge of fandome....but at least they show up to games.

This post is ridiculous....you picked the dodgers last time, and even after we dominated early you still thought they would win in 6. Now your figuring the Phillies, rooting for the rays and going against your lifes upbringing.....seriously, which board member did you borrow meds from?
Rocketfan...you were right...my prediction WAS off

By the way...I looked for you on the field...given your "WE" comment...did not see you there. Were you left off the post-season roster?
I didn't wave to you because i figured your pacemaker might stop......

you guys should've heard Harry Kalas's call of the last pitch.

Unreal.

You know how it goes: "SWING AND A MISS... STRUCK EEEEEM OWWWT... PHILLIES ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF BASEBALL!"

It was a great moment for Philly fans. I love the irony. Delirious fans in absolute bedlam. 25 years of futility erased. Screaming in ectasy. Ah... wait, bud Selig stepping to the podium. Gotta stop cheering and boo the commish for Monday night. Then back to cheering for the rest of the night.

Priceless.

BTW The Phillies have so many good guys on their roster that this championship is pretty special.

Finally beat an AL East team in the WS. Lost to the Red Sox and Yankees back in like 1915 and 1920. Lost to the Orioles in 83 and the Blue Jays in 93. Finally beat that division this year.

Would it be too jaded of me to thank the Houston Astros for hiring Philly fan favorite Ed Wade as their GM? Ed promptly sends Lidge and Bruntlett to the Phillies for a buck fifty. Bruntlett scores the winning run in two World Series games and Lidge, well... :rofl

As long as Wheels shuts his mouth and lets Harry call it uninterrupted, he can do whatever he wants.
I was actually nervous for Harry last night, because Wheels has a tendency to shout/scream/holler over
the PbP guy when big plays happen.

I still haven't forgiven Wheels for screwing up Mike Schmidt's 500th HR for PRISM.

Andy Musser: "Swing and a drive, deep left center, it's gonna go! Number 500 for...."

Wheeler: "YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Musser: "...Mike Schmidt."

Apparently, you don't see it. Philadelphia sports fans spent a combined 100 seasons
of heartache, bad teams, bad players, bad management, choking, and everything else
mixed in to get to this point.

So we're supposed to cheer for the worst commissioner baseball has ever seen, and break
into spontaneous applause for the other team? Please. Heck, Maddon is a Philly-area guy,
and we're not cheering for him, because he's on the wrong side of the ball.

Everyone knows Tampa Bay had a great year. Now, get out of the way and give us our trophy.
