Some day we'll get an invite, and we'll look back at this day and laugh that the Sun Belt didn't want us. Honestly though, we're going to have to be head and shoulders a better option than other schools because of who we are, but that's not going to stop me from enjoying the present.

I think an alumnus email is in order by JFJR concerning the situation. I believe App St's president sent out an email to his people on why App St was not invited by C-USA. It's not preferred by presidents to do something of that nature, but it does help informing alumni of what's going on and it cuts down on worrisome emails.

I don't know... I think it's someone more under the radar. If it's not us I think it will be a dark horse.

Missouri State and Jacksonville State. I see these 2 mentioned a lot on message boards. Can anybody show me something substantive that indicates they have the capability to make such a move? Or that they're interested?

I just read about a source saying, NMSU, Idaho, James Madison and UT-Chattanooga are being considered. This was posted 2 days ago, before all this news broke. So is it possible that UT-Chattanooga is the dark horse?

It is apparent that no one from the athletic department has named any specific conferences that they have been talking to about FBS invites right? Just because JLFJR or the AD havent gone on record doesnt mean that work hasnt been going on. As LUConn and Im sure others have mentioned, everybody goes into a full on CHernobyl mode with every announcement or rumor that doesnt include Liberty...or even does...our time will come but we dont have to get all crazy and make a move we may regret because we dont want to be "left behind" (insert Jesus Juke here)

just took a peek over at the Sun Belt board. I've read a lot of "nobody likes us, etc." over here and when I go over there I can see why. You're not going to gain favor with anybody over there by posting Rick Warren quotes about society, if that's what your goal is. If your goal is to just annoy them since they're excluding us, job well done I guess.
