I also had a brief chat with Len Elmore of CBS/ESPN and he gave me a contact person at Raycom Sports and some advice (more names for TBGBG). Back to Davidson for a second. Jim, I am not kidding when I say just about every coach in America was there. I saw tons of people. I heard Marshall was there but I didn't run into him. I was told that he was NOT wearing any Witchita St gear but I am not sure what that means. Jason Williams of Duke was with our guys when Tennessee beat LSU on the last play. Jason, Chris Toomer and Me had a spirited debate about what should have been done defensively by LSU on that last play...Also I borrowed my chair from coach Billie Gillespie and his friends who were sitting near us and before I got there to Steph and Toomer's table, I had a stop and chat with Ritchie and Julie McKay. Is that enough Jim or should I go on?

It is complete ignorance to think that just because a team wins their mediocre confrence every year and then gets beat all but one year in the NCAA Tourney is better than a Davidson team who plays in a harder confrence and who went this deep in the tourney. WU has no wins that can compare with Davidson's this year. and don't get started with this stupid argument with statistics and how one team can't be the definition of a program's history. WU fans are just sipping the last bit of the Marshall kool-aid, if they think they can hold a candle to Davidson. The only reason WU has more confrence wins is because they play in a weaker confrence.
