It wouldn't surprise me at all if he transferred again. Rumors are that K is going to makeover the roster this offseason (read: transfers/lineup changes) and that Curry's minutes will be severely cut if Rivers comes back.

He could only transfer to NAIA at this point. His choices are to stick another year or turn pro. I'm guessing that it will be the former.

He can transfer down a division without having to sit out a year. D2 is sure as heck better than the wasteland known as the NAIA.

Curry's not transferring.

Sometimes people post some random crap rumor, and others on here take it as fact.

Curry should join Carter McMasters at D2 Palm Beach Atlantic.

Since he's graduated, he can go anywhere that has a grad program Duke doesn't without having to sit out a year.

Like certain seminary options at Liberty...

Ha. That'd be hysterical.

I bet if we made a thread in the basketball forum about Curry possibly transferring back to Liberty for his senior year then we could convince Liberty people it's true.

I think there are more legs to Curry not being a part of the rotation next year than we'd like to think. Duke is getting an official visit from former Central Mich. guard Trey Ziegler this weekend.

Duke would be ranked in the top 5 if Scar and Hold My Own were there starting back court and Oldflame were the coach. And if you watched the celebration after Liberty clinched 5th the night they beat Campbell, I think it's safe to say the fans were happy with that finish.

Actually with Scar starting Duke would still be playing in the Dance, unlike Curry!

Well, I heard from a guy who KNOWS a guy who heard from someone who lives near the Duke campus that HE was talking to someone who cut Curry's hair once who said that he really misses Liberty.

And the Curry family always said that had Layer been the coach and not Ritchie, Seth never would've left.

How about this:
If he transfers back to Liberty he has no eligibility remaining!

He still has to be granted a release. WE all know that isn't automatic, just ask Phil Martelli about that...

If he transfers because LU offers a grad program dUKe doesn't, he doesn't have to sit a year...

That doesn't mean he is going to dUKe.

I think hovers somewhere around Shaka being the next coach at Illinois

Ha. I knew people would start talking about it seriously. Surprised it only took that long.

What's funny is that you even said in your post that you were going to start that rumor...and people still went with it.

Soon as you said that Jon my first thought was, "that has about as much chance of happening as I have of walking into a major league tryout and getting signed having never played a day of organized baseball in my life"

Rivers entering the draft per cbssports.com. Rumor is his teammates are basically saying "don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out". Apparently young Austen was a bit of a pain to work with. I don't think Seth is going anywhere, but if he were going to transfer using the master's program loophole, my money would be on Davidson.

I heard Seth was on campus today. I have sources that tell me he was sitting in the back row at convo. Dale Layer was standing right behind him in the concourse area.

Exciting times for LU basketball

 too much fun
