Singler is a freakin' moron. Everytime he touched the ball vs. Clemson, he did the wrong thing and he's continuing the tradition against Belmont.

Not over yet. Nelson couldn't hit water from a boat. I'm having VCU flashbacks.

you mean, the refs HANDED duke a break. henderson blatantly pushed down TWO belmont players on that out of bounds play where belmont turned it over. it was blatantly obvious on the replays, but god forbid the commentators mention it since the media worships Duke

I'm happy that over-rated Kentucky team who should have been hosting an NIT game got eliminated.

'Cuz everybody loves Duke, right? Hendy didn't knock those guys down, they tripped over his elbows. Belmont should have thrown it to whoever was being guarded by Singler.

I've got a certain affinity for Belmont so I'm a little conflicted but, seriously, why do you try a lob play when the defenders are packing the middle? Horrible play.

overrated? they competed to the last minute against my boys in marquette, beat tenneessee, beat vanderbilt, beat arkansas, and beat SEC champs GA twice! they also were receiving votes in the latest coaches' poll. i don't see where the overrated comes from...

Was it one or TWO now? Seriously, I don't care. I really really don't care. And, apparently, the refs didn't either.

There's a misleading statement. They lost to Gardner-fraptappin'-Webb, for God's sake!

That's because every referee in America is a Duke alum. You didn't know that?

without 2 of their best players and in the middle of a coaching transition in which the players weren't buying into Gillipie's philosophy to start the season. it's like in football, if you lose very early in the season, it doesnt count as much in the BCS as losing late in the season. unless you go undefeated, it is better to finish strong and start weak than than to start strong and finish weak. once they got healthy, mainly getting derrick jasper back, they started winning games again. They were 13-7 with Jasper, 5-6 without him.

every other team rated higher in the RPI than kentucky lost games they had no business at all losing, but of that lot, kentucky had more quality wins and went into the tournament winning 9 of their last 12 games in the fourth best RPI conference, most of the other bubble teams could not boast such a resume...

I didn't think there was a foul on that lob where Belmont could have took the lead with 4 ticks, but I do think it was a blatant foul the play before (maybe?) where their guy got down the lane and got hacked by about 3 guys at the same time.

And Kansas St. gave me a big lead in the crazy eights game, one win, 11 points!

13 of 16 overall on the day and only 2 back of the leaders...pretty solid day in my opinion.

My brackets are pretty good right now... But I would have given anything to see them ruined at the expense of Duke's loss.

I went 11 for 16. I picked Winthrop and Oral Roberts to win and that didn't pan out.
