I trust what Andy Petitte says over Clemens.

Theres no doubt, he's a great guy and somehow he came out of today smelling like roses...they said several times how sincere he was and how many times he said that he's a Christian and he'll have to answer to God one day for his mistakes and nows the time to come clean...great guy.

Also it's worth noting that ESPN polled the public the day after the report came out and 77% believed McNamee and still after today it was still 77%



The general public is not as dumb as I thought....although I must say RC being as forceful with his words i'm surprised he didnt sway more people that can be talked into anything (such as Obama supporters)

Who cares - what a big waste on tax payers money. Let it go already. It wasn't against the rules back then - let it die. It's a sport. Congress spends less time trying to keep us out of recession, then having these stupid hearings just to try and catch a guy in a lie.

Us baseball fans care

I want to know if one of 3 or 4 greatest pitchers in the last 100 years cheated. I'm guessing a lot of people pay more annually in sports memorabilia and tickets than they do in taxes.

I hope you were kidding about the above argument!! I spend a lot of money on sports, but taxes - when you add employment taxes, sales tax, property tax, gas tax, etc... there is no way you are spending more on sports. When you make more money - you pay more taxes and guess what there is tax on those sports items also.

I like Baseball too, but what is this helping? He's a pitcher - so he wants to recover faster. The other guys a hitter - so he wants to be stronger. Everyone wants bigger, faster and better athletes - if a doctor subscribed it and it wasn't illegal - that's what I don't care about.

this whole thing is almost as depressing as the 94' strike. I think everyone is getting tired of it. IMHO MLB needs to govern themselves and let congress worry more about keeping this country from recession. Both the guys are sleeze balls who can't be trusted. Steriods have made baseball much less inticing to watch. why can't we go to the good ole' days when sid bream was rounding third in the 91' NLCS and skip cary was screaming BRAVES WIN! BRAVES WIN! and noone was saying a word about steriods or drugs... well excet for otis nixon.

know why?...because right after it came out he was like "yup...sorry, my bad" and everyone forgave him...same thing with rose, as soon as he admitted it it was over....it was a non issue...if he'd of done this years ago i guarantee he'd be in the hall right now..

i think clemens did hgh. what did he say? i pay attention to everything i put in my body....then when asked about b12 he's like "i dont' know what it is"....its all bull crap.

both are liars...but clemens story has not been coroborated by 2 other people....McNamee's story was...

and i agree while all these issues are important i don't see why they take precedence over much more pressing issues our gvt is facing right now.

it's not a boil...it's a packet of the oil that does not dispense correctly and at times even if your off by a fraction of an inch and you hit the wrong glut it can cause the muscle to appear swollen and bigger than the other muscles (b/c you hit a smaller muscle and the steroids made it larger)

What I love is you listen to people on ESPN like Steve Phillips (I hate I'm using that dirtbag as reference) who have been around the game they have no doubt he used...the same goes for all the other commentators that have a history in baseball.
