I've only given one Blackboad exam in my life, and a kid cheated on it, so I've never done it since. The temptation is just too great, in my opinion.

most of the ones i've taken have been open note whatever, but they were so hard it didnt matter, i still did bad on them

I've taken various online tests and while the exams can easily be open book or open notes there is a way to catch on to it. The fact that certain segments may be timed will usually prohibit looking up answers. Not that it's impossible if you know where to look...
