Three former Coastal Carolina University football players and two other men who were arrested last Sunday on gun and drug charges are also being charged with first degree burglary and armed robbery, according to a news release from the Horry County Police Department.

Detectives have determined that Michael Lackey, Mario Tynes, Joshua Readon, Ricky Johnson and Eric Brown were involved in an assault and armed robbery that had occurred at the Flint Lake Apartment Complex near Myrtle Beach, the news release said.
