What a game between Buffalo and Philly, of course I'm glad about the outcome. Would have thought the Canes would have done better. Tough loss for the Rangers with Jagr getting hurt.
I love hockey...fights, cuts, blood.

the buffalo game was the best of the night, and that slobberknocker on the philly player was great...someone needs to teach him to skate with his head up!! down in carolina things looked great for the 1st minute when we scored on a breakaway, but it was lights out after that. a standing room only crowd was quiet very quickly. the canes played flat and with zero enthusiasm. they need to bounce back or it could be a quick exit.

no remotely funny yeah the canes game was a tough loss, but im happy that they came off the mat and played with passion. even though they are down 0-2 i still think they are gonna win. an as for philly...is that an AHL team playing buffalo?? funny how the medic says nothing when they are taking a beating. im down 0-2 and im still here!!!

Well Philly pulled one off, but Buffalo will go in for the kill now. Carolina pulled the "W" out.

the key to the canes win was putting cam ward between the pipes. scoring still looks to be an inssue, but hopefully the canes can get the equalizer on friday. in the buffalo/philly series, you knew forsberg would finally have a good game, but i still see buffalo winning this series. out west, i am really surprised dallas is down 0-3, but the avs are loaded and their players have a lot of playoff experience. im hoping the oilers will go up 3-1 too over the wings.

its been a weird first round all over the country. The Fly-guys have been underachieving for the last 2 months so this isn't a total shock- but in all seriousness, I didn't see the Carolina or Dallas series(s) going that way.

OK, one more and Philly gets to enjoy some time off. Carolina is in the same position. Will both series be wrapped up on Tuesday? I certainly hope so. Buffalo needs to win one on the road though.

great win for the canes! the difference has been cam ward! riding a hot goalie can win a championship, but there is still one more to go. i really think buffalo will close it out too.....sorry medic. when carolina and buffalo win, they will be in for a tussle with ottawa and new jersey. and one more thing is anyone surprised the oilers are up 3-2??

what a whoopin that was in philly last night! im surprised it was not a close game. im stoked about the canes winning 4 straight, but i hope they did not give too much that they wont be competitive against jersey. congrats to buffalo.
