I really hope it doesnt turn out that way. Luckily the NFL always has a hyperimproved team that you never see coming which adds to the excitement and unpredictibility.

The Panthers are going to suck, of course, whenever people think they will suck, they do well, and vice versa.

Get out of town with the ravens. Steve McNair is 500 years old and couldn't make it through a full season when he was 25. Willis McGahee looked good a few years ago but has underperformed. They lost Adalius Thomas who was amazing for them, although their D obviously should still be solid. I don't see them being as good as they were last year.

I don't think that it is too much of a stretch in elevation to expect a team coming off of a 13 win season to finish third or fourth? Like him or not, McNair led them to a 13 win season, despite a horrendous running game. And like him or not, McGahee is a huge upgrade for them because McNair's game improves with a viable reciever out of the backfield, which Lewis was not.

Again, I didn't pick them to be first, just third or fourth. If New England and Indy get injury-plauged, then the wiley McNair may sneak up on the leaders. I'd consider Baltimore and San Diego to be the dark horses at this stage.

He hasn't had to deal with a real superstar till now. I have no idea why so many elevate BB to "god" status. We'll see his demise this year, watch!
