Shuk, you have to read the article, then post.
I know a man who has worked in education (both public and private high schools in arkansas, texas, virginia, portugal, and i cant remember where else) and he said at every school he has worked at there has been at least one teacher/employee fooling around with students; every single one was fired immediately once it was proven, which he said wasn't the least bit difficult. Loose lips sink ships, and I did read the article, and it sounds like to me that they just basically went up to the teacher and asked him if he was doing anything and that was the end of it.
"School officials can't be responsible for what happens the other hours of the day, and I would think the relationship developed much more outside of school," said Brian Shaw, an attorney for the school district." Unless the info in my Sports Law book for the Sports Law class I took this spring is factually wrong, then that quote is a complete lie. Plus, jsut absed on common sense it's just a lie. If I go and commit crimes, my butt can very well get fired from my job, but this guy can engage in inappropriate and what was surely an illegal relationship, yet the school officials just basicaclly say that they can do nothing about? That's complete BS.
