Let's see the Suns get past the Spurs first. They certainly are the better team. But as we just witnessed in Oakland, the best teams don't always win. Its all about matchups. But Phoenix certainly now is the team to beat in the west.

Anyone shocked by the Pistons performance last night. They started a 9-0 run (3 three pointers) in the 4th Quarter to seal the deal vs. the Bulls.

Also, the Jazz eliminated the Rockets in Game 7

I wasn't surprised by the Pistons performance. They play good defense for the most part and they have good shooters and decent leadership.

Did anyone watch the suns-spurs game today???? I think the suns could have pulled it out if steve nash wouldn't have been bleeding at the the end of the game...I also thought the officiating in this game was horrible. I agree that the spurs are the best defensive team in the league, but i think since they are known as the "best defensive team" they get away with wayyyyyyyyy too many fouls.

They need Nash bad. Barbosa can score with the anyone in the league but setting up other players isn't his strong point. That cut Nash had was downright nasty.

The four-letter-network forgot about them and labeling the Bulls as the next "big-thing" in the East woke them up. The Pistons are probably standing on their last legs as we know them currently as Billups will almost certaintly get an offer that the Pistons can't match.

I'm from Detroit and have been to many games the past 5 years, but I think Flip needed a year to teach his team his system. They are now just seamless in their execution. I'm not sure how long until someone figures out how to put a wrench in the system, but at this point they have to be the favorite in the NBA. It could only take one game or series to change all that, but with the addition of Webber, the Pistons may just be unstoppable this playoff year. We shall see, six games is just the beginning of the playoffs. They still gotta win 10 more to hoist up the trophy. A lot can change in the next few weeks.

We ripped on Flip last year for tanking, but maybe the guy knows what he is doing and needed a year and a half to show it!
