I'm a basketball fan, but I'm no longer as into it as I am baseball and football. I have no idea what a good fantasy drafting strategy is for it. Good luck. I just hope I don't finish last.

Gordon Hayward for Anthony Davis? Come on now. Got to come harder than that! I take my hoops serious, I know even marginal NBA players like Jared Jaffried like the back of my hand!

By the way, thanks for not drafting Derrick Rose or Ricky Rubio. They fit in well on my IR and are going to be great additions to the Prep All-Stars when they become active! A PG group of Rondo, Rose, Tony Parker, and Rubio come January? Absurd.

It's pretty difficult to be an awful team in a 8 team league. Everyone is going to be stacked with talent, what it all comes down to in a league like ours is did you get enough balance in all categories or are you so much better in some categories that one or two can be neglected?

I am pretty sure I am going to be awful. I worked late and didn't get in until the last 2 rounds. None of the players that had been auto drafted are players I would've picked up. Oh well, I will roll with it and see if I can pull something out of my butt

Rose wont be ready til march at the earliest..thats my bet..also you are going to have a lot of assists and turnovers but what about the other 8 categories???

I'm pretty sure I'm going to lose week 1 due to Hurricane Sandy and the postponed Knicks @ Nets game. I had 3 players scheduled to play tonight in that game. Plus, I'm going with the trend that everyone seems to be going with: My team sucks...

Apparently you have not looked at the rest of my roster or the league scoring system. TUrnovers are not a factor, and there are only 8 scoring categories. My roster is filled with other guys that score, rebound, block shots, steal, make 3s, and have a high FG%. I'll suck at FT%, but no team will be great at everything - I'd much rather sacrifice one category for the greater good of the team.

Honestly, most of us don't have time to do so.

And that's why your (your as in all the people saying their team sucks) teams suck if you haven't even looked at the league scoring system or even taken a cursory look at the competition. I work 60 hours a week and have even managed to find the time to do that...

its a flamefans fantasy league that I joined for the hell of it and then completely forgot about the draft. I understand you're an NBA 'expert', but seriously you are taking this whole conversation way, way too seriously...

And since we are bragging about how much we work a week...60 hours sounds good right about now

ps...my team is STILL awful
