If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

And who would run the Defense?
The Gun Show is a potent enough offense, they won't need a defense.

BJ, that's why you would need to hire some experienced assistant coaches, like Bowden, Paterno, Karcher, Hout, etc. If Billy the Kid could do it in basketball, you could do it in football.

I still had much development to work on...especially with my own formation which takes the pistol and adds a second running back behind the QB. This isnt the best way to show it but itd look something like this:

WR LT LG C RG RT TE WR

QB

RB RB

It still needs some fine tuning, especially pass plays but it uses a lot of misdirection...and you can motion out of that to a pistol or three receiver shotgun look (also, I should note that the board tightens it up buy default so it isnt the most perfect depiction

BJ do you trust everyone on here? The last thing I want is someone to learn your offense and use it as a selling point to Florida. This is what gives us an edge on people being discussed like Tubberville and others.

I trust you guys...besides like I said, the way it looks in the message isnt an accurate depiction of how it would look in real life

Smart BJ! Keep them off the scent and then when they try to use this as part of their playbook it will be wrong and they'll look like IDIOTS!!!!

Brilliant!

Your idea of talking "real football" is Bobby going to coach Florida??? Mmmmmk.

BJ has more of a chance....

Who is Bobby? The head ball coach is Steve Spurrier...he won about a million SEC titles and a National Title at Florida.

Misread your post, my mistake. Yes, that is far more logical. Doubtful but but there is some reason for the idea.

any guesses on who cowherd was talking about today. He said the acronym STAB was his hint that he had an inside source and that he would break the story ASAP. A lot of the callers seemed to be guessing Chris Peterson. I have no clue, he also said it was someone off the radar.

When is Cowherd ever right about anything? He's a hype machine.

Im working with our resident FFer at GSU to do some tweaking on my formation and I'll probably be drawing some things up while on break.

BTW as an explanation (since I trust you guys), the "Gun Show" offense refers to the fact that I would use a mix of shotgun (single and split backs), pistol and the formation Im working on which as I may have mentioned before is called "revolver" (pistol alignment with split backs)

as the board's resident gun-nut, I approve

and this deserves it's own thread

So Will Muschamp got tired of being 'Coach in Waiting' behind Mack in Austin. I'm curious to see how he does in the driver's seat. He crtainly will enjoy the attention.

I wonder what he is doing with his house in Austin....met his wife a few times. I think it is a good hire for UF

Houses in Austin don't generally last long ... and certainly ones that a UT defensive coordinator would call home.

Muschamp will certainly do well bringing in the talent to Gainesville. It will be interesting to see what he does with the offense.

Alot of angry and unhappy folks in the state of florida tonight from what ive been hearing. How do you hire a coach from a 5-7 team? This is borderline when tim floyd got hired by the bulls

I think it will end up to be a pretty good hire but what do I know. I'm really interested or curious about the offense he will run next year.
