NDSU gets a quick score and follows it up with a safety. They now lead 29-17 with 8 minutes to go. NDSU has the ball and the Colonials chances to win this are slipping away.

Just out of curiosity, how exactly did Josh Norman act like a thug today? Or are you still angry because of the tackle he made in the Liberty game (which he tried to apologize for and was basically told to get lost)?

I'm not sure what LUnpretty is referring to. Personally, I would have liked to have seen Summers and Rocco handle that situation differently after the game Randy, but I understand why they were mad, and it was not the tackle they were upset about. It was Norman's behavior after the tackle.

I don't know what specific behavior you're referring to, because I don't remember exactly what happened. When I have a chance, I'll watch the replay on ESPN3 and see if I see what you're talking about.

However, my point is - Norman made an effort after the game to go up to Summers & Rocco and apologize for what had happened. Summers "shooed" (I believe that is the direct quote from the article, if memory serves) him away. To me, once the effort is made to apologize and the effort is snubbed, the offended party really has no right to be angry anymore.

IMHO Chris shouldn't have done that, no matter how mad he was.

After Summers crossed the goal line on the 80-yard TD pass, as he was going down the ball came loose. While he was laying on the ground hurt, with the officials having signaled the TD immediatly, Norman grabbed the ball and ran around in the end zone holding it out at arms length as if to say "look, I have the ball". I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he was somehow trying to get a fumble call from the officials and not taunting, but either way it was uncalled for. I have no problem with the tackle itself, although I think it was correctly called a penalty. He was just trying to make a play.

Norman is a terrific corner. The play he made going clear across the field to catch the WIU receiver from behind yesterday was one that few DBs at any level of college football could make.

I don't blame Rocco or Summers. I would've acted the same way! Let's not pretend we are saints. Put yourself in there shoes. Most people here would have acted the same or worse. Rocco is the man. Summers is a beast. And Brown is my favorite. Pat Kelly another favorite 8) . I don't blame Rocco or Summers for the way they acted nor do I wish they acted differently. It's in the past now though let it go. I personally believe BOTH Liberty and Stony Brook would have done better against W. Illinois. Oh but I'm not bitter  At the same time I don't doubt Norman's talent. Obviously a good football player. I just don't like him now. Not that my opinion matters 8)

I don't recall seeing that happen, but I can't really fault Josh for trying to make a play.

We're really glad that he's got another year here.

That's because your a CCU fan of course you wouldn't shoo him away haha. I don't blame you for that though. Any CCU fan will argue for CCU and any Liberty fan will argue for Liberty. Name of the game :)

If I'm one of the best receivers in the nation and you just ended my season, I'm going to be mad at you for more than 30 minutes, which fell into the time period of all of these events. Just saying...

Crazy day in FCS playoffs today, and it's still not over. North Dakota State making a case for being in the playoffs and deserving their at-large birth. MEAC on the other hand, should never have 2 teams in the playoffs ever again. Pathetic showing from Bethune.

I think we may be in the quarter-finals today.

Is anyone else shocked that Nova is killing App State in Boone? Second half score is 35-17.

Elsewhere, George Southern is beating Wofford 14-0 in the first half (the announcer just made a BJ-like quote that GSU is "stepping on the throats" of Wofford).

Nova won 42-24. I'm surprised, but not shocked. Matt Szczur had on his post-season superman cape today. If he hadn't missed most of the regular season injured, Nova would have been ranked a lot higher.
