If this is a successful decision for Seth (as in, he shines and gets to the NBA), does anybody think it will have both large and bad ramifications on the Big South and other small conference in the future? It would be a good example to all good players everywhere to either not bother with us or to take our scholly for a year to flaunt their skills towards bigger schools.

Big loss for LU and the Big South. Didn't want to see it.

The contrast with Conley's situation is that Curry has a solid family with basketball experience to give him advice and support. Jason had nothing but his Mother's influence; even Ron Carter tried to speak sense about that situation. Jason has already admitted his error.

I'm curious to know where Curry's headed. I'm guessing it might not be the powerhouse program everyone here expects him to choose. I just can't see his Dad sitting him down in a bad situation where he doesn't fit in.

Could it be Virginia Tech or the newfound media darling Davidson?

Whatever school he ends up on he won't be a star. Hate to burst everyones bubble by saying this but he is not Steph and he is not Dell. Lets put it in perspective, the defense he got in the BSC is nothing compared to an elite ACC team defense or SEC or any big name conference for that fact. He is good and I will give him that, but he is also overhyped and known for his name. He will never be a legit star in a big school, and losing him, though it hurts, opens up room for other players to step up with good attitude (i.e. Jesse and Austin) and to prove that they are just as talented as Seth...
