Maryland's pretty sad this year, so if UVA truely is a tournament team, they should be able to take care of them even if it is away. Easier said that done I suppose.

on a different note (besides the "let's bash duke and carolina" one), i thought ncsu played pretty dang good other night against the heels. luck or not, they hit a lot of shots. even if they would have lost, i would have still given them a lot of credit. hopefully that game gave them a good amount of confidence for the second half of the acc. the heels, as always, played well. u can only do a certain amount when a team has so much going for them on a given day.

fsu also played well. they deserve a lot of credit. between the little contribution from mcclure and henderson (judging the number of minutes they played) and paulus's stupid tech, the devils just couldnt get it done. whether it was stall ball for the second half or unable to get shots to fall, it doesn't matter... the level of duke's defense coupled with the 17-point comeback they allowed is shameful.

Make no mistake, when Duke is on, Duke is on. They are probably a top-10 team. When they're off, they are waaaaaaaay off and probably don't belong in the top 25.

No JJ to bail us out this year. No one to go to in the post. Not a good combination. Scheyer blew up last night and had a fantastic game but McRoberts dissapears. When playing against UNC, you can't have your best players dissapear. Nelson did absolutely nothing (nor has he done in the past 3 years.. I'm not a Nelson fan, AT ALL).
